The most wonderful time of year is finally upon us! I get giddy just thinking about all of the festivities that come along with the holidays approaching. A few years back, my favorite part about the holidays was the anticipation of Santa coming down my chimney and maybe just maybe he would bring me that easy bake oven (which finally came when I was 29 years old) but since I found out Santa was really my parents, I have since become increasingly excited about the parties that go along with my favorite holiday.

Nothing makes me happier than being surrounded by my favorite people, having copious amounts of baked goods available at any moment and getting dolled up for some of my favorite annual Christmas parties. Oh and lets not forget the free flowing champagne cocktails, those are also pretty great. And as the holiday party invites start filling our inboxes, it’s time to think about what to wear to these festive fetes.

Certainly last year’s holiday get up wont do, it’s time to switch it up! This year I will be wearing one of my favorite fit and flare dresses by Halston to my best friend’s annual Christmas Celebration and this lovely form fitting navy blue stunner by Osman to the black tie gala that my husband and I were invited to. I chose these dresses While I may be switching up my dresses, the one thing will remain in common is my bag! Since my holiday dresses both have bold silhouettes in solid rich colors, I decided to glam things up by borrowing this stunning sparkly Chloe bag. If you are like me and glittering dresses aren’t your thing, don’t be afraid to add some bling to your accessories. I love that this bag has just the right amount of shimmer to draw your eye to it but it also isn’t screaming for attention either. It’s the perfect balance of holiday sparkle to help you shine at all the festivities this holiday season!
